Setting Up Locals

From the Employee - Locals window

The Employee - Locals window provides more options for assigning local taxes Also see liabilities. to an employee. To assign local taxes to an employee, do the following:

  1. Click Employee and then click Locals.

  2. Evolution® displays the Browse tab If the company is not already open, click the Open company button.

  3. Click the Details tab.

  4. On the Details tab, click the Create Record button .

  5. Evolution® creates a new record for a local tax Taxes collected by the local jurisdiction.. Specify the local tax:

  6. Set the effective date for the tax changes.

  7. Save the changes.
